Spinal cord injured individuals can play a number of adaptive or para-sports for recreation purposes and competitively as well.

They can play wheelchair cricket, table tennis, badminton, basketball, and tennis.

They can also try their hands in athletics, swimming, weightlifting, shooting, and fencing, among others.

Playing these sports can enable them to come out of their homes, socialize with others, and be fit and healthy.

Participating in district-level, state-level, national-level, and international-level competitions (such as Paralympics can allow spinal injured persons to earn trophies, prize money, and government jobs.
